Kelly Howarth of Buckinghamshire based Inspire Travel by Kelly Howarth became an Inspire home based travel agent after many years of experience in the travel industry. Kelly explains how her travel experience has helped her in her role at Homeworking by inspire.
I am an experienced travel professional and have been in the industry for 23 years. During this time I have enjoyed many aspects of the travel and tourism sector including working as cabin crew, business travel, airline ground staff and I have even taught travel and tourism at my local college.

I have always regarded Inspire is a very trustworthy, established brand, I felt my customers would love it. Inspire offer me many suppliers to choose from It even allows me to create bespoke itineraries too.
I love how they are very flexible in their approach to homeworkers’ working patterns. When I joined, I wanted to pursue a second travel role as VIP Ground Staff at Heathrow, and Homeworking by Inspire fits in perfectly with this. I’m also mother to three children, so being a homeworker ensures I can still do the school runs!
What it is like being an Inspire homeworker?
What I love about this industry is how it is so diverse and always keeps you interested. No two days are ever the same. This week alone I have created dream holidays to Mauritius, Dubai, Iceland and a grand tour of Peru.
I always take care of my customers’ bookings as if they were my own. I share my experience and knowledge with my customers when selling holidays, group bookings, honeymoons and much more. Because of my experience in the travel industry, I understand so many of the finer details that can make a holiday an amazing experience

Inspire work alongside you effortlessly to develop your travel business. I love the fact the head office team is very friendly and welcoming; It feels like a real family. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the support is completely wonderful Thank you Inspire!
My plans for the future
I would love to be a part of this expanding Inspire team. With my experience, I would like mentor new homeworkers to help them succeed too. I am so passionate about what I do and want to help the Inspire team to deliver.
